Empowering stuff
Using batteries of different voltages will change the maximum speed of the motor, but the torque will remain the same. To calculate the maximum speed at different battery voltages, it is important to use the kv (RPM / Volt) constant. It is important to note that if the voltage of the motor itself is 72V a battery with a lower voltage than 48V can be used for the application.
QS-205 (3000W) motor kv = 19.4
Thus (indication of the characteristics of the motor at different battery voltages based on the formula is shown below):
RPM = kv * Voltage = 19.4 RPM / V * 48V = 931 RPM
48V - 931 RPM 189.2Nm
60V - 1164 RPM 189.2Nm
72V - 1397 RPM 189.2Nm
96V - 1862 RPM 189.2Nm
